*Student from Swami Atmanand School, Nayapara, invited to Delhi
*Enthusiastic participation in registration across the state
Raipur: The ninth edition of Exam Discussion witnessed widespread enthusiasm among students, parents, and teachers this year as well. By the last date of registration, January 11, 2026, a total of 29.29 lakh participants from Chhattisgarh state registered on the portal. This figure is 7.16 lakh more than last year, indicating the growing interest in the program.
Last year, Chhattisgarh ranked first in the country in terms of registration, while this year the state has secured the fourth position after Andaman and Nicobar, Chandigarh, and Lakshadweep. It is particularly noteworthy that this year 1.41 lakh parents from the state registered, which is a clear indication of the increasing awareness among parents regarding education.
First Phase Selection Process
In the first phase, videos related to questions asked by students were invited from the districts for the selection of students. A total of 171 student videos were received by the stipulated date.
These videos were thoroughly examined by the constituted committee, after which 18 students were selected and their details were sent to the central government.
The selected students include 04 from PM Shri schools, 06 from Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools (SAEMS), 04 from private schools, 03 from government schools, and 01 from KGBV.
Srishti Sahu selected at the central level
The central committee has selected Srishti Sahu, a Class 12 mathematics student from Swami Atmanand School, Nayapara, Mahasamund district. Srishti Sahu, daughter of Narendra Kumar Sahu and Dineshwari Sahu, has been invited to participate in the Exam Discussion program to be held in Delhi on January 21, 2026.
Reaction of the Administration and School Family
District Collector Vinay Kumar Langhe met with Srishti Sahu upon her selection and extended his congratulations and best wishes. The school principal, Ami Rufus, expressed her delight at this achievement, stating that Srishti is a disciplined, hardworking, and studious student.
She also mentioned that Srishti had previously served as the school leader, sitting in the principal’s chair and providing leadership on Children’s Day.
Family Pride and Support
Srishti Sahu’s father is a teacher in a government school, and her mother is a homemaker. Both expressed their pride and happiness at their daughter’s selection and considered it a matter of pride for the family as well as the district.
Appreciation for School and Departmental Efforts
According to the school principal, all the teachers at the school made special efforts to register students for “Pariksha Pe Charcha.” 100% registration was ensured at the school, and students were given regular practice, which yielded positive results.
District Education Officer Vijay Kumar Lahre and the Education Department extended their heartfelt congratulations to Srishti Sahu on her selection.
District Project Coordinator Rekhraj Sharma played a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary arrangements for the student’s trip to Delhi were completed within the stipulated time. The State Project Office, Samagra Shiksha Raipur, also sent its best wishes to Mahasamund district for this achievement.
Awaiting the Next Stage
The selection process for the upcoming stages of “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026” is ongoing, and the results are awaited.
