The name of Suresh Goyal, a so-called social worker who has been running immoral activities and making a name for himself by blackmailing under the guise of the channel, is in the headlines every day. In the past years, Goyal was also in the news for Chhattisgarh’s biggest fake sex CD scandal, when he continuously broadcast news citing the sex CD of the then PWD minister of the BJP government, Rajesh Munat. After this, as the political uproar heated up due to the uproar, the channel suddenly took a U-turn. The channel started claiming that Rajesh Munat’s sex CD was fake. People were surprised to know that Suresh Goyal first irresponsibly broadcasted false news on behalf of the channel and created a political uproar. Then he brought his own news to the public with claims of the CD being fake. Even today, if the facts are revealed, Suresh Goyal will be the accused.
It is said that CBI had also questioned the channel’s management regarding bringing the sex CD scandal into existence. But there is no specific mention in CBI’s primary charge sheet about the responsibility of broadcasting the news. CBI has also not mentioned in the charge sheet that from where Suresh Goyal had received the sex CD of PWD Minister Rajesh Munat.
Before broadcasting the sex CD scandal news, did the channel follow the “guidelines” set by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India as well as the NBA standards or not. Not only this, after the earlier broadcast news, news of Rajesh Munat’s CD being declared fake was also broadcast. In such a situation, it is natural to raise the question that from which agency did Suresh Goyal get the proof of the sex CD being fake?
Violation of the standards set for sensational content like sting operation and sex CD is a serious crime. The licenses of many news channels have been cancelled due to violation of the provisions. Therefore, the absence of important evidences related to the foundation of the sex CD scandal in the CBI charge sheet is surprising. The case of the death of Rinku Khanuja, a prominent person associated with the state’s biggest sex CD scandal, is also being described as no less sensational.
It is said that Rinku Khanuja was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The family members had complained to the police calling his death a murder. However, Chhattisgarh Police had registered a case of suicide regarding Rinku’s death in Raipur’s Civil Lines police station.
In the Rinku Khanuja suicide case, Raipur’s Civil Lines police had issued notices twice to iron businessman and IBC-24 channel owner Suresh Goyal and called him for questioning. But Goyal did not appear. The question arises that what facts and investigation did Suresh Goyal want to avoid? Why did he keep making excuses of not being at home despite knowing the facts despite two notices? His son Dinesh Goyal kept giving information in response to the police notice that he is out and hence cannot come.
The reason for Rinku Khanuja’s death has been stated as suicide in the records of Chhattisgarh Police. It is said that on 6 June 2018, a new twist came in the scandal when Baghel accused the CBI that Rinku Khanuja, who was made an accused under pressure from the interrogation, committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. After this, Baghel and Congress surrounded the CBI. Eventually, the CBI proceedings came to a halt. Finally, as soon as Baghel occupied the seat of Chief Minister, he banned the CBI in the state.
During Rinku’s death, his family members gave an audiotape to the police, in which it was claimed that there was a conversation between IBC-24 owner Suresh Goyal and Lovely Khanuja regarding the deal of pornographic CD.
Sources say that the forensic report of the veracity of this audio has not been revealed yet, despite this, it is reported that the Chhattisgarh Police has ended the investigation of this suicide case. This audio went viral on social media when CBI was investigating the sex CD scandal and Chhattisgarh Police was investigating the Rinku Khanuja suicide case on different fronts. During this time, why did both the agencies refrain from discussing the audio that was in news?
Why is it the truth of the sex CD or Rinku Khanuja suicide or murder? The fact that Suresh Goyal was not questioned in both the cases brings the investigation of all the cases under suspicion. The then Civil Line CSP Trilok Bansal posted in Raipur had insisted on questioning Suresh Goyal. He was busy investigating the Rinku Khanuja case. It is said that seeing the attitude of the police, Suresh Goyal kept trying to escape for more than a month.
