George Kurian will be the BJP Rajya Sabha candidate from MP, know about him ……

Bhopal.- August 21 2024 is the last day to file nominations for Rajya Sabha elections. BJP has announced its Rajya Sabha candidate. Union Minister George Kurian’s name has been finalised for the only Rajya Sabha seat that fell vacant after Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia moved to Lok Sabha.

George Kurian’s name came up suddenly
Among the names that were floating in the political corridors for the last few days, one name has suddenly come up in discussions, that is Union Minister of State George Kurian. Kurian, who hails from Kerala, has held many big responsibilities in the BJP. Currently, despite being a minister, he is not a member of any House. Apart from him, the name of Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu was also in discussions.

Murugan is already a member
Tamil Nadu leader and minister in the Modi government at the Center, L Murugan is already a Rajya Sabha MP through Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, it was already believed that BJP can send another outsider candidate to the Rajya Sabha.

These were also contenders
Among the leaders whose names were in discussions among those going to Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh, were former MP from Guna KP Singh Yadav, former Home Minister Narottam Mishra, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Suresh Pachauri who came to BJP from Congress, Kantdev Singh. Apart from this, the names of former Union Minister Smriti Irani and Madhavi Latha were also discussed.
