Haryana exit poll 2024 live: As voting concluded for the 2024 Haryana assembly elections, exit polls predict Congress to win over 50 of the 90 seats.

Haryana exit poll 2024 live: Haryana assembly elections have concluded. The main parties contesting the elections are the BJP, Congress, INLD-BSP alliance, JJP-Azad Samaj Party alliance, and the Aam Aadmi Party. Key candidates include chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, BJP leaders Anil Vij and OP Dhankar, Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Vinesh Phogat, INLD’s Abhay Singh Chautala, and JJP’s Dushyant Chautala.

A total of 1,031 candidates are competing, including 101 women and 464 independent nominees. Voting ended at 6pm, with counting scheduled for October 8.

The BJP is contending with strong opposition as it seeks a third consecutive term, while the Congress aims to regain control after ten years.

The Congress is looking to build on its impressive performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Their manifesto promises seven key guarantees, including a legal commitment to MSPs, conducting a caste survey, and providing a monthly allowance of ₹2,000 to women.
