Arvind Sawant questioned Shaina NC contesting elections from Shinde faction and said that imported Maal do not work in our elections. The controversy has increased on this statement of Arvind and Shaina NC has played the woman card in response to this and said, I am a woman, not a Maal .
On Shaina NC being made the Mahayuti candidate, Arvind Sawant said, look at her condition. She was in BJP all her life. She got the ticket from Shinde Sena. Imported items will not work here. Original items work here. Amin Patel is the original candidate. Shaina NC expressed great displeasure over the statement of Uddhav faction MP Sawant and retaliated. Shaina NC said, he cannot respect a woman. A capable woman, who is a professional and comes into politics. You use such words? BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad expressed anger over Sawant’s statement and said, I am saddened to see and hear this statement. It is painful. It is shameful and condemnable. We condemn it. Such comments are very painful for a political woman.
