India vs Pakistan Highlights, ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024: Pakistan posted 281 for 7 in 50 overs after opting to bat first and then bowled out India for 237.

India vs Pakistan Highlights, ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024: India started their campaign in the tournament with a 44-run defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Shahzaib Khan scored 159 off 147 balls as Pakistan posted 281 for 7 in 50 overs after opting to bat first. Usman Khan (60 off 94) and Shahzaib took the side off to a great start with a solid 160-run opening stand. Pakistan lost wickets at regular intervals after that but Shahzaib’s knock kept the side going. Samarth Nagaraj was the pick of the bowlers for India with figures of 3 for 45. India were bowled out for 237 runs in the chase, with Nikhil Kumar top-scoring with 67. Ali Raza returned figures of 3 for 36.

Also praises Shahzaib Khan inning and he feels like the start of their openers was key as they had major control of the game in the first inning. Ends up saying they would definitely improve their gameplay and try to push their scoreline beyond the 300-run mark.

He ends up saying that there are some positive side, as well as the lower-order batters, played exceptionally well, especially Mohammed Enaan, and he is also confident enough to bounce back in the tournament.

    For Pakistan Under-19, Ali Raza was the pick of the bowlers with 3/36 in his spell while Abdul Subhan and Faham-ul-Haq chipped in with a couple. Earlier today, Pakistan Under-19 batted first and posted a solid 281 on the back of an excellent 159 from Shahzaib Khan while Usman Khan with 60 played his part nicely at the top. Samarth Nagaraj, Yudhajit Guha, and Ayush Mhatre were the pick of India Under-19 bowlers. The boys in blue will look to get over this game and start afresh going forward while Pakistan Under-19 will take a lot of confidence with this huge win.

    A clinical all-around effort from Pakistan Under-19 helps them defeat India Uner-19 by 43 runs to start their competition on a high. Chasing 282 for the win, India Under-19 did not have the best of starts as both openers were dismissed in the first five overs. Andre Siddharth and Mohammed Amaan got decent starts but failed to kick on and so did Kiran Chormale and Harvansh Pangalia. Nikhil Kumar with 67 off 77 fought a lone battle but ran out of partners as India Under-19 succumbed under pressure. Mohammed Enaan and Yudhajit Guha swung their bats but it was all too late for India Under-19.

Saad Baig fails to collect the ball and thumps the stump, but he reacts super quick to pick the ball up again and plucks the stump off the roots. The big screen turns out as ‘OUT’ in red. Pakistan Under-19 beat India Under-19 by 43 runs!
