The main door of IndiGo flight 6E 6312 which reached Raipur from Delhi could not open on Tuesday June 17, 2025 due to technical fault. Dozens of passengers including former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, MLA Chaturi Nand and Mayor Meenal Chaubey were stuck in the plane for about 30 minutes. Later, the technical team opened the door and brought down all the passengers safely.

After landing, the passengers had to wait inside the flight for about 30 minutes as the main gate of the plane did not open. During attempts to open the door, no signal related to the gate was found on the cabin screen, which made the situation a little worrying and created a stir among the passengers.

Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the media that there was a technical fault in the door. After about half an hour of efforts, the gate was opened and everyone was safely evacuated.
