International Day of Persons with Different abilities teaches us that a capable society is one that takes everyone together — Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Different Abilities on Tuesday December 2 , 2025 said that persons with Different Abilities are an integral part of our society. The Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to empowerment of them .

Chief Minister Sai said that International Day of Persons with Different abilities gives an opportunity to the society to understand that persons with different ability are not inferior in any respect. He said that a strong and progressive society is one that provides equal opportunities to all and does not allow any person to be left behind due to his physical limitations.

Chief Minister Sai said that the State Government is continuously taking concrete steps to ensure the rights, dignity and self-reliance of persons with different abilities . Many schemes for education, health facilities, assistive devices, skill development, employment opportunities, social security and creation of favorable environment are being implemented in Chhattisgarh. He said the government aims to bring equal and strong participation of persons with such abilities in the mainstream so that they can actively contribute to the development of the state with their full potential, Sai added.

The Chief Minister called on all sections of the society to bring about positive changes in attitude towards persons with different abilities and adopt respectful, cooperative and sensitive treatment towards them. He said that persons with different abilities would be truly empowered only when society and the government worked together to create conditions in which each individual could move forward in accordance with their abilities. The Chief Minister said that International Day of Persons with Different Abilities sends a message to us to further strengthen our commitment towards inclusive development.
