The central government appoints IPS officer Rajvinder Singh Bhatti as the chief of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). IPS Javinder Singh Bhatti has assumed charge as Director General of Central Industrial Security Force today.
Let us Inform you that according to the Ministry of Personnel, Rajvinder Singh Bhatti has been appointed as the Director General of CISF for a tenure from the date of assuming office till the date of his retirement on 30 September 2025.
About Rajvinder Singh Bhatti:
Rajvinder Singh Bhatti is a 1990 batch Bhopal cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.
Bhatti gained fame by arresting the then dabang and former Siwan MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in November 2005.
He was appointed DGP of Bihar in December 2022.
Rajvinder Singh Bhatti is known as a strict and disciplined police officer.
Before becoming Bihar DGP, he had worked as ADG in Eastern Command Border Security Force.
Rajvinder Singh Bhatti, commonly known as RS Bhatti, had served as Director General of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP) before going on central deputation. BSAP was earlier known as BMP.
Rajvinder Singh Bhatti, a resident of Punjab, was allotted Bihar cadre, after which he came to Patna. In Bihar, he worked in various positions.
Apart from City SP of Patna, he also served as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Barh, SP in Jehanabad, Gopalganj, Purnia, DIG in Siwan, IG of Patna Zone, IG of Security, Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Director General of Civil Aviation.
