Jammu and Kashmir: In a tragic accident on Friday September 21 , an army bus fell into a gorge in the hilly area of Jammu and Kashmir, in which many soldiers were injured and a son of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh also died in the same accident. The accident occurred when the army bus was passing through the inaccessible hills and suddenly went out of control and fell into a deep gorge.
A major accident has taken place in Budgam, Kashmir. A bus engaged in election duty in Waterhall area of the district fell into a ditch, in which many BSF soldiers were injured. The accident happened when a bus carrying 36 BSF soldiers slipped off a cliff. The bus was completely damaged and fell into a drain in Brail village near Waterhall district. Immediately after the accident, relief and rescue operations were started, in which many soldiers were evacuated safely, but the soldier from Etah district could not be saved.
Sad moment for Etah
The martyred soldier has been identified as Sukhvashi Lal son of Gokul Prasad, age about 45 years, resident of village Ayar in Thana Malavan area of Etah district. The martyred soldier had joined the BSF in 1997 in Ferozepur Punjab. As soon as the news of martyrdom reached the soldier’s village, a wave of mourning ran across the area. The family members and the villagers are proud of the martyr’s bravery, but at the same time are deeply shocked by his death.
Martyrdom in the service of the nation
The martyred soldier has left behind his wife and three children, two boys and a girl. The soldier’s last rites will be performed with full state honors in his native village. The country will always remember the martyr for this great martyrdom. The army officials and the district administration have assured all possible help to the martyr’s family.
The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister expressed condolences
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have expressed deep condolences over the incident and consoled the martyr’s family. The Chief Minister has announced that the government will provide all possible help to the martyr’s family and his sacrifice will always be remembered.
