Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: More than 59.28 percent voting in 43 seats of Jharkhand till 3 pm

Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: Voting is being held today on Wednesday November 13, 2024 for the first phase of the 81 seats . The first phase, voting started at 7 am for 43 seats of the state. Voting will be held till 5 pm. About 1.37 crore voters of the state are exercising their franchise today. More than 59.28 percent voting has been done till 3 PM .

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Neha Arora said, ‘The estimated turnout till 1 PM was 46.25%. The highest voting was 53.87% in Ghatshila assembly constituency, 53.86% in Baharagora and 53.68% in Kharsawan.

Cases of violation of the model code of conduct have been registered and according to the information received so far, FIRs have been registered in 2 cases in Bhawanathpur and 3 cases in Jamshedpur.
