Kashi glittering with lamps, 84 ghats lit up with 25 lakh diyas, 15 lakh devotees came from India and abroad, see pictures

There is a rush of tourists in Kashi to celebrate the Dev Deepawali . The eyes of all the people of the country and the world are fixed on the Dev Deepawali of Kashi. All the ghats  (Banks of the Ganges river) .are lit up with lamps. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the Namo Ghat.

Varanasi : On the occasion of Dev Deepawali, fireworks were organised on the ghats of Varanasi. During this time, tourists sitting on boats and rafts in the Ganges kept enjoying the grand Dev Deepawali celebrations.

On this auspicious occasion of Dev Deepawali, the ghats of Varanasi have been decorated with colourful lights. Lamps have been lit on 84 Ganges Ghats of Kashi. During this time, people from all over the country and abroad have reached Kashi to see the grand celebration of Dev Deepawali. A huge crowd of tourists has gathered on the ghats of Kashi today . In such a situation, seeing the crowd going out of control on all the major ghats, the police along with other forces have reached the spots and are busy controlling the crowd.
