The first batch for the Amarnath Yatra left from Jammu today. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first batch of pilgrims from Bhagwati Nagar base camp. The pilgrims will reach the Kashmir Valley in the afternoon.

The Quad foreign ministers meeting in Washington, USA unanimously condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. The foreign ministers of the four member countries participating in this Quad meeting called this incident condemnable.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go on an important visit to five countries from today to July 9, which include Ghana, Trinidad, Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia. In some countries, this will be the first visit in several decades.
