Mumbai : Bigg Boss 17 winner comedian Munawar Farooqui and Shraddha Walkar murder accused Aftab Poonawala are also on the hit list of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang, last month he received threats in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi, so he has increased his security. Lawrence Bishnoi gang has threatened to kill him for insulting Hindu gods and goddesses, due to which he is now seen in public places under heavy security cover. Munawar is accused of making fun of Hindu gods and goddesses in his show, due to which he has also gone to jail. However, the reason for the threat is not completely clear yet.
At the same time, Aftab Poonawala, accused of the murder of Shraddha Walkar, has been lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail since November 2022, where he was arrested in connection with the murder of his live-in partner Walkar and cutting her body into 35 pieces and throwing it in the forest of Mehrauli. Poonawala is currently kept in solitary cell number 4 due to the fear of danger.

An accused arrested in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Maharashtra told Mumbai Police that Poonawala is on the target of Bishnoi gang, as discussed in the media and social media. An official source said, “So far we have not received any information from the police or security agencies about the threat to Poonawala from the Lawrence gang. We can review his security if we get any such information.

On October 12, 66-year-old Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three assailants near the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui in Bandra area of Mumbai. The accused responsible for Siddiqui’s murder is currently lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat, while many of his associates are in Tihar Jail.
