Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir to inaugurated the Z-Morh tunnel=-Photo -DD/ANI
This tunnel connecting Sonamarg and Gagangir is located at an altitude of 8,650 feet and has a 7.5 meter wide parallel route for emergency. This tunnel will connect Ladakh by road throughout the year as well as play an important role in the country’s defense needs and regional development.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir. Here he inaugurated the Z-Morh tunnel. During this, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, LG Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari were also present. In view of PM Modi’s Kashmir visit, security forces have increased security in the valley. Officials said that the deployment of security forces has been increased in sensitive areas, dozens of checkpoints have been set up at major intersections, vehicles are being thoroughly checked and regular patrolling is also being done.
