LUCKNOW : CM Yogi Adityanath has called a big meeting in Lucknow regarding the stampede in Maha Kumbh on Mauni Amavasya. Many senior officials including DGP Prashant Kumar, ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash have reached the CM residence at 5-Kalidas Marg.

Before this, PM Modi himself has spoken to CM Yogi on the phone 3 times. Home Minister Amit Shah has also called to know about the situation.
Along with this, CM Yogi has spoken to the chief acharyas of the Akhada Parishad. He has instructed the officials to keep the security arrangements tight, there should be no laxity. Every possible effort should be made to control the crowd. There is constant crowd pressure on Sangam Nose, Akhada Marg. If anyone tries to spread rumors, we will all suffer. No one should spread rumors.
CM Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the devotees that the devotees should take bath at the ghat near which they are, do not try to go towards Sangam Nose. Many bathing ghats have been built for bathing. Bathing can be done anywhere. Follow the instructions of the administration. Cooperate in making arrangements. Do not pay attention to any rumor.
