BJP emerged as the largest party: Vijay Rupani

Central Observer Vijay Rupani said, ‘I think BJP has emerged as the largest party. Eknath Shinde had given a statement that if someone from BJP is made CM, he has no problem. I think this time someone from BJP will become CM.’

On the question of Maharashtra CM, BJP’s central observer for Maharashtra Vijay Rupani said, ‘I am going to Mumbai this evening. Tomorrow at 11 am there will be a meeting of the Legislative Party where we will discuss and after that the leader will be elected unanimously. After which we will tell the name to the high command and make the announcement. There is no problem because the high command has discussed with all our three components.’

Preparations are going on at Azad Maidan in Mumbai for the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra to be held on December 5. Senior NDA leaders and several Chief Ministers are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

It is still not clear who will be the next CM of Maharashtra, but Eknath Shinde is still staking his claim to the CM post. On the other hand, BJP has also maintained silence over the CM post. Devendra Fadnavis’ party is not ready to say anything about who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

On December 4, there will be a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in the Legislative Assembly’s Vidhan Mandal. By evening on this day, the leader of the BJP Legislature Party will be elected. After which the swearing-in ceremony will be held at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on December 5.
