Manmohan Singh Funeral LIVE Updates: The body is being brought to the Congress headquarters
The last rites of the late former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were performed with full state honours at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. The whole country bid him a tearful farewell. President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present at Manmohan Singh’s funeral.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s last rites were performed with state honors today at Delhi’s Nigam Bodh Ghat. Earlier, his last rites were taken out from the Congress office to Nigam Bodh Ghat. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was also present in this yatra. President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were also present during Manmohan Singh’s last rites.
Former PM Manmohan Singh’s body was kept at the Congress headquarters for about an hour before the last rites. Here, along with Congress workers, the general public also got to see him for the last time. Let us tell you that Manmohan Singh died on Thursday December 26 , 2024 night at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. He was admitted after his health deteriorated.
