Raipur. After senior BJP leader Brijmohan Agarwal became an MP, the Raipur South assembly seat has got vacant. By-election is to be held on this seat, but the date has not been announced yet. Regarding the Raipur South by-election, Brijmohan Agarwal said, Congress should support the BJP candidate.
There is no benefit in contesting elections to get the deposit forfeited. On the question of whom Brijmohan Agarwal is supporting, he said, I will support whoever BJP gives the ticket to. On the upheaval in the Congress, MP Brijmohan Agarwal said, till now it seemed that there were four-five Congresses in the state. There was the Congress of Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singhdev, Mohan Markam. Amitesh Shukla, Amarjeet Bhagat have also awakened. Charandas Mahant is running a different Congress. Don’t know how many Congresses are running in the state. Even all together will not be able to do anything good. They will only harm the state, not benefit it.
