Municipal elections will be held using ballot papers, training given for preliminary preparations

Rajnandgaon: Urban body and three-tier Panchayat general elections will be conducted using ballot papers on the instructions of the Election Commission, for which preliminary preparations have been started. Two-day preliminary preparation training is being given by master trainers in all the blocks of Rajnandgaon district. Training for preparation for urban body elections was also given in the municipal school of the city.

Administrative preparations have begun for the upcoming Nagar Nigam elections. In this episode, preliminary information was given about ballot boxes and ballot papers in this election which will be conducted through ballot papers. Regarding the training for preliminary preparation, Collector and District Election Officer Sanjay Agarwal said that Nagar Nigam and three-tier Panchayat elections are to be held and in view of that, two-day training is being organised in all four blocks of the district. He said that this election is to be conducted through ballot boxes. For which training is being given for preparation regarding ballot boxes.

During the training organised at the Municipal School, the master trainers told the polling officers how many people would be in the counting room, mobile phones would be banned inside the polling booth and information was given about ballot boxes and ballot papers. During this training camp organised for the municipal body elections, 1300 trainees are being trained in two shifts by the master trainers.
