“Nari Shakti Vandan” Resolution Receives Widespread Support from Women- Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: A delegation of women representatives, led by Rajya Sabha MP Lakshmi Verma, paid a courtesy visit on Thursday April 30, 2026 to the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at his office located within the Legislative Assembly complex.

On this occasion, while felicitating the Chief Minister, the women representatives expressed their special gratitude for the special session organised in the Legislative Assembly in support of the “Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam” (Women’s Power Salutation Act), as well as for the official resolution passed in this regard.

They stated that this historic initiative constitutes a strong step towards the dignity, empowerment, and rights of women, thereby paving the way for positive social transformation.

Appreciating the efforts being undertaken in the state for the upliftment of women under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the representatives expressed their confidence that women’s empowerment in the state would gain further momentum and that women’s participation across all sectors would be strengthened.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sai affirmed that the state government accords the highest priority to the dignity, safety, and self-reliance of women.

He stated that historic initiatives such as “Nari Shakti Vandan” would establish new dimensions of equality and justice within society.

The Chief Minister further remarked that the women of the state are empowered partners in the journey of development, and that the vision of holistic development remains incomplete without their empowerment.

Expressing his gratitude to the women representatives, the Chief Minister reiterated that the government remains steadfastly committed to the all-round development of women and to the protection of their rights.
