Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has received a death threat. Taking immediate action in the case, Haryana police has arrested a person. A person has been arrested for allegedly giving ‘death threats’ to the Haryana Chief Minister on a WhatsApp group in Julana of Jind district. Police gave this information on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Ajmer, a resident of Devrar in Jind district.
Jind Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar said, “As soon as the matter came to the notice of the police, an FIR was registered and Ajmer was arrested. A case has been registered against the accused under the IT Act for threatening.
Actually the whole matter is of the day of Haryana election results on 8 October. In a WhatsApp group named ‘Sombir Rathi Julana Halka’ it was written that whoever becomes the Chief Minister of Haryana, I will shoot him. The way Godse had shot Mahatma Gandhi. When an investigation was done after the complaint, it was found that a resident of Devrad village of Ajmer had sent this threatening message.
According to the information, the man wrote this in the group while under the influence of alcohol. After regaining consciousness, he deleted the message and also accepted his mistake. The arrested accused has no criminal record.
Saini has registered victory in Ladwa assembly seat
Let us inform you that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has won from Ladwa seat of Kurukshetra district. He has defeated Congress’s Meva Singh in the election. Meva Singh initially gave a tough fight to CM Saini, but as the counting of votes progressed, CM Saini went far ahead of him. While CM Saini got 70,177 votes, Congress’s Meva Singh stood second with 54,123 votes.
Saini will take oath as CM on October 17
The swearing-in ceremony of Nayab Singh Saini as the next Chief Minister of Haryana will be held in Panchkula on October 17. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 10 am at Dussehra Ground in Sector 5, Panchkula. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and Chief Ministers of some other states will attend the swearing-in ceremony.
