New initiative of Panchayat and Rural Development Department towards empowerment of rural women: ‘Didi Ke Goth’ radio program will be launched

The program will be broadcast from all Akashvani centers on 31st August at 12:15 pm

Raipu: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the real meaning of good governance will be fulfilled only when our rural women become socially, economically and family-wise empowered. With this visionary thinking, the Chhattisgarh government has taken a new historic initiative to inspire women towards self-reliance and self-reliance.

The special radio program “Didi Ke Goth” prepared under the State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) will be launched on 31st August 2025 at 12:15 pm. This program will be broadcast simultaneously from all Akashvani centers of the state including Akashvani Raipur Center. Along with this, its live streaming will also be available on the online platform http://(www.onlineradiofm.in/stations/all-india-air-raipur).

Didi Ke Goth is not just a radio program, but it is a reflection of the visionary thinking of the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai ji for good governance.

Its objective is to make the voice of women reach the entire society, bring their struggles and achievements to the fore and to show them the path of positive change by connecting them with the schemes of the government.

In the program, special messages and inspirational wishes will be broadcast in the name of rural women by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Union Rural Development Minister of the Government of India and Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister of the state, Vijay Sharma. This occasion will not only be the launch of a program, but will also become a powerful medium to reach the policies and schemes of the government directly to the public.

The main objective of Didi Ke Goth is to connect women of rural areas with various schemes of the government, provide them opportunities for self-employment and move towards self-reliance and self-dependence. In this program, stories of successful women of self-help groups will be narrated – how they overcame struggles and difficulties and with their hard work and confidence not only achieved financial strength, but also created a new identity in the society. Today, lakhs of women of Chhattisgarh have become Lakhpati Didi.

Their lives have changed positively due to Bihaan Yojana. Their inspirational stories will reach every village and every house through the voice of radio, so that other women can also take the path of self-reliance.

To make the impact of this program more widespread, arrangements for mass listening are being made at the Panchayat, Gram Sangathan and Sankul Sangathan level. Public representatives, administrative officers, local community and Didis of self-help groups will be specially involved in this. Mass listening will create an environment of mutual dialogue, discussion and inspiration in rural areas.
