‘Nitish Kumar should apologize,’ controversy erupts over a female doctor being asked to remove her hijab, Zaira Wasim says it’s an insult.

Zaira Wasim has strongly condemned the incident in which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar allegedly asked a female doctor to remove her hijab. She called it an insult to the woman’s dignity and demanded an unconditional apology.

Dangal film actress Zaira Wasim has expressed her anger over an incident involving Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Recently, Zaira shared a post on social media demanding an apology from him. Nitish Kumar is accused of trying to remove the hijab from a female doctor’s face during an appointment letter distribution ceremony. Zaira said she was very angry about the incident.

Zaira Expresses Outrage

Zaira expressed her anger over this incident in a post. She stated that a woman’s dignity and respect are not toys to be treated in such a manner on a public platform.

Zaira Wasim wrote on X, “A woman’s dignity and modesty are not something to be trifled with, especially on a public platform. As a Muslim woman, seeing another woman’s hijab being pulled off so easily, and that too with a smile, was infuriating.” She further wrote, “Power does not give anyone the right to violate someone’s boundaries. Nitish Kumar should offer an unconditional apology to that woman.”
