Gariaband: Amazing enthusiasm among Gujaratis was seen on the last day of Garba festival organised by the Gujarati community in the city. Garba was played till late night on the last day of Navratri. People danced with great enthusiasm to the beats of traditional costumes, Gujarati music and Dandiya. It was an amazing celebration. The youth and women of the community together created a great celebration on the last day. The youth, elders and women of the community were all seen dancing together till 4 am .
Garba was celebrated with gusto
This year, the Gujarati community celebrated Garba with great gusto comparatively with last year for all nine days. Even Small children took part in dance with their parents wearing traditional costumes .
It is worth mentioning that Garba festival is being organised by the Gujarati community in Gariaband for the last 54 years. Here, glimpses of Gujarat’s culture are clearly visible in the event . The entire atmosphere looks attractive and entertaining with the devotional atmosphere of Raas Garba and the beats of sticks. Every year the enthusiasm for Garba is increasing here. With the trend of new film songs and Gujarati music, changes are now being seen in the forms of Garba. This year, during Garba, people of the community were seen playing a new and unique way.
