Raipur: Guru Nanak Jayanti 2024: On the occasion of the 555th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib, a special Diwan has been organised in the capital today on Friday November 15 , 2024 morning . Guru Parv is being celebrated on the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji by the Station Road Gurudwara Managing Committee Shri Guru Singh Sabha at Khalsa School. On this occasion, the program of Shabad Kirtan continued throughout the day. Along with the Sikh community, people of every religion reached the Gurudwara and bowed their heads. Along with this, Guru’s unbroken langar was held, in which thousands of people took prasadi.

During Guru Parv, Guru Nanak Dev Ji is being praised since morning and Guru Nanak Dev is being remembered through Kirtan. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, MLA Purandar Mishra, State General Secretary Sanjay Srivastava, General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Tennis Association Gurcharan Singh Hora and Family an a large number of Sikh community people arrived.

CM Sai bowed to Guru Granth Sahib and prayed for the prosperity of the state, and remembered the sacrifice and dedication of Guru Govind Singh and called him the pioneer of Akhand Bharat. The entire area resounded with the chants of Jo Bole So Nihal, Satshri Akal. At the same time, everyone together took prasad in the langar.

On this occasion, Gurcharan Singh Hora said that the Prakash Guru Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, who took the world out of the darkness of ignorance, is being celebrated with great reverence in Khalsa School today. He kept karma and dharma equal, on the holy Prakash Parv of Guru Sahib Ji, he greeted the people living in Chhattisgarh as well as in the country and abroad on Guruparv. Hora wished the state’s head Vishnu Deo Sai and MP Brijmohan Agarwal on Prakash Parv and expressed gratitude for visiting Khalsa School. Here, other stalls including educational langar were set up by the Sikh community, from which the devotees benefited from.
