The General Administration Department has announced the list of chief guests for the Independence Day celebrations on 15 August. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will hoist the flag at 9 am and take the salute of the parade in the main function organized at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu will hoist the flag at Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district headquarters. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal will hoist the tricolor in Gariaband district.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will hoist the flag in Bilaspur and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will hoist the flag in the main function organized in Bastar. The list of names of chief guests has been released today by the General Administration Department for flag hoisting on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August.
Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh will hoist the flag and take the salute of the parade at the main function organised at Rajnandgaon, Minister Ramvichar Netam at Surguja, Minister Dayaldas Baghel at Mahasamund, Minister Kedar Kashyap at Durg, Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan at Korba, Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal at Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Minister O.P Choudhary at Janjgir-Champa, Minister Laxmi Rajwada at Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Minister Tank Ram Verma at Sanargarh-Bilaigarh district headquarters.
MP Brijmohan Agrawal will be the chief guest in Gariaband, MP Vijay Baghel in Balod, MP Santosh Pandey in Khairagarh-Gandai-Chhuikhadan, MP Chintamani Maharaj in Jashpur, MP Roopkumari Chaudhary in Bemetara, MP Radheshyam Rathia in Raigarh, MP Kamlesh Jangde in Sakti, MP Mahesh Kashyap in Dantewada, MP Bhojraj Nag in Kanker, MP Devendra Pratap Singh will be the chief guest in the main function of Independence Day organized at Narayanpur district headquarters.
MLAs Punnu Lal Mohle will hoist the flag in Mungeli, Dharam Lal Kaushik in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Amar Agarwal in Kabirdham, Ajay Chandrakar in Dhamtari, Bhaiyalal Rajwada in Surajpur, Vikram Usendi in Bijapur, Rajesh Moonat in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, Kiran Dev will hoist the flag in the main function organised at Sukma district headquarters, while MLAs Renuka Singh will hoist the flag in Korea and Lata Usendi will hoist the flag in the function organised at Kondagaon district headquarters.
