New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party Monday on May 12 , 2025 held a press conference for the first time on ‘Operation Sindoor’. During this, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra praised the Indian armed forces. He said that the army showed indomitable courage. The army razed the terrorists to the ground. The army destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. MP Sambit Patra said on ‘Operation Sindoor’, ‘Today BJP, its workers and the citizens of the country thank the security forces due to which Operation Sindoor has been successful.’

He said that after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised that we will take revenge for the death of 26 people. The Prime Minister had said that the revenge would be beyond the imagination of the enemy and that is what happened. He had also said that we will ram them into the ground and kill them by entering, we did the same. Prime Minister Modi’s decision and the bravery of our armed forces ensured that the terrorist hideouts were reduced to rubble. There was an atmosphere of tension in the country from 22 April to 7 May, there was a demand for immediate action. Despite surgical strikes and air strikes in the past, Pakistan had no idea when it would be attacked.

Sambit Patra said that the Indian armed forces destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this. We targeted 11 airbases in retaliation. 50 Pakistani soldiers were also killed. He said that all the leaders of Pakistan attended the funeral of the terrorists. This proves that those who promote terrorism and terrorists in Pakistan work together. We have told through Operation Sindoor that India will not tolerate terrorism.

He also said that one thing should also be kept in mind that this is the first time that a nuclear power has been retaliated. This had never happened before. We have told the enemy that nothing is far for us. Our army destroyed terrorist hideouts in Pakistan up to Punjab.
