Opportunity to become a voter: The work of adding names to the voter list will start from this date, the collector made this appeal to the people

Indore : The work of updating the voter list in the district has started from today on Wednesday October 30 . This will continue till November 28,2024 . During this period, citizens can add their names, remove their names and get the mistakes corrected. Youths who will be 18 years old by January 1, 2025 can also add their names during this period.

Collector and District Election Officer Ashish Singh has appealed to the people to go to their polling booth and check their name in the list and if the name is not there then apply to get it added. Additional Collector Rajendra Singh Raghuvanshi said that this work will be done through Booth Level Officer (BLO) at 2625 polling stations in 9 assembly constituencies of the district.

Youths of 18-19 years can get their names added through Form-6. Old voters can use Form-8 for change of address or correction in photo and Form-7 for deletion of name. Election Commission has kept November 9, 10, 16 and 17 as special campaign days. Names and mobile numbers of BLOs are available on Election Commission’s website www.ceomadhyapradesh.nic.in, from where people can contact.
