PM Modi gave a big gift, inaugurated projects worth Rs. 6600 crores on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda

Tribal Pride Day was inaugurated in the presence of Gomti Sai in Korea


Korea :Tribal Pride Day was celebrated with enthusiasm across the country on the 150th birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 6600 crore from Jamui district of Bihar. He also released a commemorative coin of Rs 150 and a special commemorative postage stamp in honor of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

The Prime Minister said that the life of Bhagwan Birsa Munda is inspirational for the tribal society and the entire country. He announced the construction of “Birsa Munda Janjati Gaurav Upvan” while highlighting the contribution of the tribal society in the freedom struggle and the features of their culture.

On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, in a program organised in the auditorium of the District Panchayat, MLA of Pathalgaon Assembly and Vice President of Surguja Development Authority Gomti Sai also formally inaugurated this day which will run till November 26 , 2024 . Sai gave information about the upliftment of the tribal society and the work being done by the Central Government. She also highlighted the contribution of tribals in the culture, tradition and development of the country. Collector Chandan Tripathi and District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ashutosh Chaturvedi presented a memento to the chief guest Sai.
