PM Modi Longest-Serving PM LIVE Updates: A major meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is taking place in New Delhi today to celebrate the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 12 years at the Centre and to mark his achievement as the longest-serving elected head of government in India.
Senior BJP leaders from across the country, leaders of NDA ally parties, Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, and senior office-bearers of the alliance are participating in this meeting held at Bharat Mandapam.
This NDA meeting is taking place at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a significant political milestone. He has surpassed India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, to set the record for the longest tenure as an elected head of government since the first general elections held in 1952.

Speaking at the NDA meeting, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, “The country’s security is robust under the Prime Minister’s leadership. Prominent leaders from across the country have begun arriving at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi for the crucial NDA meeting. Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), N. Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), Manik Saha (Tripura), and Bhupendra Patel (Gujarat) have already reached the venue.
