Bijapur: Telangana Police has achieved a major success by killing seven Maoists in an encounter. This encounter took place in the forests of Eturanagaram in Mulugu district. Mulugu SP Dr. Sabarish gave this information. Police have also recovered a large quantity of explosives , weapons and ammunition from the possession of Maoists.
Police said that the encounter between Telangana Police and Maoists took place on Sunday early morning in the forests of Chalpaka area of Eturanagaram Mandal in Mulugu district. In this encounter, Badru alias Papanna, the commander of the committee of Yellandu-Narsampet area, was killed. No statement has been issued by the police administration regarding this encounter yet.
