Pragati College organises a programme on the occasion of 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram!

The program began with a prayer and performing puja of Goddess Saraswati. The speakers were from Maharishi Vidya Mandir.

The students participating in this session were inspired to achieve their goals and encouraged to bring positive changes in their lives.

As the first speaker Monica Mishra awakened the students to the spirit of patriotism. She explained the importance of action without expectation of rewards through a story. She also spoke about protecting the interests of others, changing one’s duty according to the circumstances of the country and time, and also discussed energy conservation through meditation.

As the second speaker, Pooja Jain introduced the life of Sister Nivedita, a social activist who devoted her entire life to understanding Indian culture and promoting women’s education. Through this, she raised students’ awareness of social service. At the end of the seminar, students had the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with the speakers.

The program was moderated by Dr. Gujan Sharma, Assistant Professor of Education.

Principal Dr. Soumya Nyyar , Head of the Education Department Dr. K.N. Gajpal, the administrator Jyoti Thakur , all faculty members, and students were present at the event.

A very simple, Introvert person who believe in "Simple Living and High Thinking", trusts in Modesty. Very truthful to self basic instincts, work, hobbies and family. I Always Listen and Obey what my heart, my inner voice, my soul tells me. I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others.
