Raipur: Raipur District Administration, under the direction of the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has started an innovative and exemplary initiative named “Sushasan Express” to deliver government schemes and services to the general public near their homes, which has been established as a quick solution model for public problems.

It was inaugurated on May 29, 2025 by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in the Samadhan Camp organised in village Bhainsa under Sushasan Tihar. Through this initiative started under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, thousands of villagers have started getting the benefits of more than two dozen services of the government easily.
Villagers said that now facilities are being made available near home
It was a moment of happiness for Uttam Sahu, a youth of Gram Panchayat Sankari, when he got his learning license sitting at home, which he got from the Sushasan Rath that came to his village. Uttam says that when other members of his family applied for license, they had to go outside the village and it also took long time.
Now a few days ago, when the Kotwar called out in the village, he got the information about the Sushasan Rath coming. I went there and applied for license . The process was completed and I got the license. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, a resident of Sankara, is also very happy that his ration card has been made, for this he did not have to go to the Panchayat office again and again. He applied in the Sushasan Rath, after the process was completed, the ration card was made. Uttam and Rajesh, expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, saying that now the District Administration of Raipur is providing government services near their home, for which they had to take out separate time and go, many times they had to go again if the documents were incomplete.
Quick resolution of more than 67 thousand applications
A total of 75,864 applications have been received through Sushasan Express so far, out of which 67,788 applications have been quickly resolved. The remaining pending applications are also being processed on priority. Through Sushasan Express, till now 15,741 needy applicants have been given income certificate, 5741 have been given caste certificate, 4273 have been given residence certificate, 7536 have been given Ayushman Bharat card, 6014 have been given ration card, 8269 have been given driving license, 1306 have been given Kisan Credit Card, 2051 have been given NREGA job card, 577 have been given birth certificate, 50 have been given death certificate, 4093 workers have been given Shramik Card, 5070 have been given Aadhar card, 883 have been given Kisan Kitab, 814 eligible applicants have been given pension, 1346 have been given HSRP benefits, along with this a large number of people are also getting benefited from other schemes including Women and Child Development, Police, Housing.
‘One-stop camp’ is being organised in the village itself
Information is issued three days before the arrival of Sushasan Express in any village. Patwari, Panchayat Secretary, Health Team, Anganwadi workers, employees making Aadhar and Ayushman cards and officers of the district administration are present on the spot. In this way, a small ‘one-stop camp’ is set up in the village itself.
First phase – Completed, now Sushasan Express in second phase
In view of the positive results of the state-wide Sushasan Tihar-2025, the District Administration Raipur started Sushasan Express on the same lines, the objective of which is to promptly resolve the problems and applications of the government staff by reaching the villages together.
The first phase of Sushasan Express started from the villages of Abhanpur, Arang, Dharsiwa and Tilda development blocks. Problems and applications were promptly resolved through Sushasan Express in more than 300 gram panchayats of the said four development blocks and in 17 wards of Nagar Panchayat Arang.
After the success of the first phase, the district administration has now started its second phase, which includes rural areas of Abhanpur, Dharsiwa and Tilda development blocks, where Sushasan Express is reaching on the scheduled dates. The field staff of various departments is reaching village after village with Sushasan Express and resolving the problems and applications of the people.
Big change at nominal cost
Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh said that to give concrete shape to the idea of running Sushasan Express for quick resolution of public problems, four condemned ambulances were repaired by the district administration and converted into Sushasan Express. These mobile service vans, prepared at nominal cost, have paved a new path of good governance in rural areas.
The success of Sushasan Express of Raipur district is actually an exemplary model in the direction of the willpower of the government-administration, innovation and taking the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government to the last person.
