PM Modi attended the birthday celebration of US Vice President’s son Vivek.
PM Modi attended the birthday of US Vice President Vance’s son and also gave gifts to both Vance’s sons. After this, the US Vice President praised the PM and called him kind and said that I am grateful to him for this wonderful conversation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US Vice President JD Vance, his Indian-origin wife Usha and sons on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris on Tuesday. PM Modi shared his photos of the meeting with the Vance family on Instagram, in which PM is standing with Vance’s sons Ivan and Vivek. PM also attended Vance’s son Vivek’s birthday and gave him a gift. So Vance expressed his gratitude by calling PM Modi kind.

‘Our children received gifts…’
At the same time, US Vice President JD Vance expressed his gratitude to PM Modi and said, ‘Prime Minister Modi is very kind and our children really enjoyed the gifts. I am grateful to him for this wonderful conversation.’
Earlier in a video shared by PMO India, the Prime Minister was seen holding bilateral talks with Vance, while his wife Usha watched.

Vance expressed gratitude to Modi
Vance said, ‘I appreciate what PM Modi said. AI will provide convenience to people and make them more productive. It will never replace humans.’

Vance told that his son Vivek turned 5 years old on February 12. He sleeps late like his father. So we went out for a walk after everyone else went to sleep. Vivek fell asleep a few minutes before he turned five. As I reflect on this day, I feel that my life is easier than most other people. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the country and most of all for my family.
Earlier he said that I have just had a meaningful meeting with European officials. This meeting has taken forward President Donald Trump’s agenda, especially in terms of technology and AI. As always, I feel honored to serve the American people.
PM Modi meets Estonian President
At the same time, after the PM Modi-Vance meeting, another bilateral meeting was held with Estonian President Alar Karis at the summit in the French capital.
PM Modi has shared pictures of the two leaders in the discussion on X, “Had a very fruitful meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris. India’s relations with Estonia have been growing significantly in the last few years. We discussed ways to promote relations in trade, technology, culture and other areas.”
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the Prime Minister invited the Estonian government and companies to explore the opportunities offered by India’s growth story and take advantage of programs like Digital India.
Earlier in his closing speech at the AI Action Summit, Modi said that the discussions have clearly brought out that there is unity of vision and unity of purpose among the stakeholders. He said, ‘India would be happy to host the next summit to increase the momentum of this Action Summit.’
