Rahul Gandhi’s comment on former royal families is condemnable: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari

Jaipur: Rajasthan ‘s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has condemned the article of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha in which he has made baseless comments against former royal families. She said that Rahul Gandhi has made baseless allegations on former royal families through his articles in English and Hindi newspapers that the British ruled India by bribing the Maharajas. I strongly condemn the attempt to tarnish the image of former royal families in the article written by Rahul Gandhi.

Diya Kumari said that all the royal families sacrificed everything to fulfill the dream of a unified India. Rahul Gandhi does not know history. It is absolutely unnecessary and condemnable for him to write such articles without knowing the facts of history. He should stop throwing mud on the families of others to brighten his political image and maintain the dignity of his constitutional post.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should know the facts of history before making such baseless allegations on former royal families. By making such allegations, Rahul Gandhi is trying to create a rift between different sections of the society, which is condemnable.
