Raipur Literature Festival 2026: Nine-Member Advisory Committee Formed for the Event

Literature Festival to be held in Nava Raipur from January 23 to 25, 2026 .

Raipur: The state government has constituted an advisory committee for the Raipur Literature Festival, which will be held in Nava Raipur from January 23 to 25 next year.

The committee comprises nine members. The members include Anant Vijay, Dr. Sushil Trivedi, Satish Kumar Panda, Jaymati Kashyap, Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Shashank Sharma, Pankaj Kumar Jha, and Vivek Acharya. The committee will provide special advice for the successful and effective organisation of the Raipur Literature Festival.

It will also assist the organisers in the selection of literary figures and the themes of the event. Dr. Ravi Mittal, Commissioner of the Directorate of Public Relations, will serve as the member secretary of the committee.

It is noteworthy that the Raipur Literature Festival will be held in Nava Raipur from January 23 to 25,2026 at the beginning of the new year, and will feature more than 100 renowned literary figures from across the country. This event was envisioned by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during the silver jubilee year of the state’s formation.

A comprehensive action plan for this event, based on Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision, has been prepared in just two months. This three-day festival will be held on January 23, 24, and 25, 2026, near the Tribal Museum.

The festival will include a total of 11 sessions. These will comprise 5 parallel sessions, 4 group sessions, and 3 dialogue sessions, facilitating direct interaction and discussion between literary figures and participants.
