A Festival of the Victory of Dharma over Adharma (Good over Evil ): A Grand Celebration of Vijayadashami Celebrations in Raipur

The 55th Shri Ram Vijayadashami festival was celebrated in a grand manner at the WRS Colony grounds in the capital. Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai were present on the occasion.

A large crowd witnessed the thrilling Ravana Dahan and fireworks display and enjoyed the festivities for a long time.

Governor Ramen Deka said that this Vijayadashami festival is also an occasion for introspection. He stated that today we should all resolve to abandon our inner ego and evil and play a positive role in the progress of society and the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the festival of Dussehra conveys the message of the victory of Dharma over Adharma, truth over false, and good over evil. This festival inspires us to abandon our negative thoughts and tendencies and follow the right path.

Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MLA Purandar Mishra, along with a large number of public representatives, officials of the organising committee and devotees were present on this occasion.
