Raipur: On the birth anniversary of the country’s Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Run for Unity was organized in Raipur from Telibandha Lake Marine Drive on October 29 ,2024 at 7 am. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai flagged off the run. The run started from Telibandha Lake at 7 am and ended at Gaureya Chowk.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had appealed to the people to participate in Run for Unity. He said that organising Run for Unity on the birth anniversary of the country’s Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel teaches us important lessons about the unity and integrity of India. Due to Diwali on October 31, this year , we are organising this event on October 29. He said that this event makes us all understand the importance of unity in diversity of our country and inspires us to move forward unitedly. The determination and courage with which Sardar Patel united the nation is inspiring for all of us. He said that all of us should join this race and pledge to build the India of his dreams. By participating in Run for Unity, all of us should demonstrate unity, integrity and immense respect for our nation.
