According to the information received, on Friday January 31, 2025 , a joint team of DRG, STF, Cobra 202 and CRPF 222 Corps got information about the presence of Maoists in West Bastar Division. On this basis, the security forces set out for anti-Naxal operation. During this, there were several encounters intermittently from 8.30 am on 01 February. During this encounter, the security forces killed 08 Naxalites and recovered explosive material and modern weapons from their hideouts.
