State government takes strict action against officers who do not join within 7 days after transfer, issues letter to all secretaries giving these instructions

Raipur : Disobeying the transfer posting order will now prove costly. The state government has issued a strict letter in this regard to all the secretaries. It has been said in the letter that it has been seen that instead of reporting to the new place regarding transfer, employees and officers go to court to seek stay . They get a stay from the court. Employees do not join duties during the period of hearing till court’s decision . And demand salary and allowances for that period also.

GAD has expressed displeasure over the attitude of employees and officers.

GAD said that it is not appropriate to take more than a week to join after transfer. According to the new instructions, leave of the transferred employee and officer will now be approved from the new place of posting only.
