Subhankar Sarkar has been appointed as the new president of Congress in West Bengal. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday September 21 appointed Subhankar Sarkar as the President of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect. With the new appointment of Congress President in Bengal, Subhankar Sarkar has been relieved from his current post of AICC Secretary.
