Suvendu Government in Bengal: The Misrule of the TMC and Mamata Has Come to an End-CG CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: The people of West Bengal have received a new Chief Minister today. Suvendu Adhikari took the oath of office as Chief Minister.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, and Minister Dayaldas also attended this swearing-in ceremony. Meanwhile, a statement has emerged from CM Sai.

He stated that, with the victory of democracy in Bengal, the misrule of the TMC and Mamata has come to an end.

The People of Bengal Have Gained Freedom – CM Vishnu Deo Sai
Upon returning from West Bengal after attending the swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai remarked that a massive crowd had gathered for the event.

The ceremony was conducted with great grandeur. He reiterated that, with the triumph of democracy in Bengal, the era of misrule by the TMC and Mamata has concluded. The people of Bengal have attained freedom. Development across all sections of society will now proceed at an accelerated pace.

Those Who Took the Oath as Ministers
Today, while Suvendu Adhikari took the oath as Chief Minister on one hand, the former President of the Bengal BJP, Dilip Ghosh, took the oath as a Minister on the other. In addition to Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul—who was elected as the MLA from the Asansol constituency—also took the oath as a Minister. Furthermore, Ashok Kirtania, the MLA from North 24 Parganas, was sworn in as a Minister. BJP MLA Khudiram Tudu, representing the Ranibandh constituency, also took the oath of office.

Additionally, Nisith Pramanik, who previously served as the MP from Cooch Behar, was sworn in as a Minister.

Suvendu Adhikari Elected as Leader of the Legislative Party
On May 8, Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata, where Suvendu Adhikari was elected as the Leader of the Legislative Party. Shah himself announced his name. Subsequently, Suvendu met with Governor R.N. Ravi in ​​Kolkata; by submitting a letter of support from the MLAs, he staked his claim to form the new government. It is noteworthy that the BJP secured a resounding victory across 207 seats in West Bengal. In contrast, the TMC was reduced to a mere 80 seats, bringing an end to its 15-year tenure of governance.
