The Ganesh idols immersion procession had begun in the state capital the late evening evening of Monday September 8 , 2025 at 8 pm. As in earlier years, tokens for tableaux were distributed at Sharda Chowk. The procession passed through Telghani Naka, Rathore Chowk and Tatya Para before assembling at Sharda Chowk, from where the tableaux moved ahead one by one.

The route covered Jaistambh Chowk, Malviya Road, Sadar Bazar, Kankalipara, Purani Basti, Lakhenagar, Ashwini Nagar, Sundar Nagar and Raipura, culminating at Mahadev Ghat.

As earlier this year too, the tableaux were designed on diverse themes. Along with mythological scenes, glimpses of Operation Sindoor and the Rafale aircraft were presented. A Rafale fighter jet showcased on the streets of Raipur became a major draw. In another tableau, Lord Ganesh appeared in traditional Chhattisgarhi attire. Not only city residents but also villagers from surrounding areas thronged the capital in large numbers to witness the spectacle.

The event was attended by Cabinet Minister Khushwant Saheb, MLAs Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra, and Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Chaubey, along with a large gathering of local public representatives.
