The case of Hotel Four Seasons took a serious turn, Mrs. Soma Singh accused the constable of threatening to kill her and implicate her in a false case

Atul Sharma on August 15, the Durg Police sealed the Hotel Four Seasons in the district. Now, the issue is getting serious. The hotel’s owner, Soma Singh, has accused constable Rajiv Ranjan Singh, posted at Durg Police Line, of extorting money by threatening to kill her and implicate her in a false case. She said that he also tried to extort money from her husband, Sanjay Singh. When she refused, he started abusing and quarreling in the middle of the road.

Soma Singh said that Durg police is not listening to her. When she complained against Rajiv Ranjan in Mohan Nagar police station, the police instead filed an FIR against her husband and sealed the hotel. At the time they sealed the hotel, college girls and many guests were staying there. Everyone was thrown out of the hotel at night and financial loss was caused to them.

She told that constable Rajiv Ranjan Singh is her relative. Soma is Rajiv Ranjan’s sister-in-law. She said that Rajiv’s financial condition was not good earlier. They helped him and his family a lot. After this, when he got a job in the police department, he started threatening them. He said that if they do not give him money, he will implicate her husband in a false case and get him killed.

Durg CSP Chirag Jain said that when the CCTV footage of the fight was demanded from the lodge owner, the lodge owner refused to give the CCTV footage. Due to this, we had sealed the lodge. Now the seal has been opened. The CCTV footage seen between the hotel owner and the constable is being investigated, action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
