He said that this initiative reflects our commitment to good governance, under which we are committed to providing transparent, timely, and accessible services to the citizens of the state. It is our government’s goal to ensure that every citizen of Chhattisgarh has access to better facilities and a quality of life.

Model Suvidha Kendras (ISPs) are an important step in this direction, which will make urban administration more effective.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that, in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s good governance is working to provide better services to the citizens of urban bodies by formulating a well-planned action plan.

The Urban Administration Department, through the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), submitted a proposal to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs under the Municipal Shared Services Centers (MSCs) to establish Citizen Experience Centers (CECs) in the state.

The Government of India approved and recommended Chhattisgarh’s proposal, approving ₹50 crore . These CECs will serve as a one-stop hub for municipal services. Sao thanked Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for approving the proposal and congratulated the citizens of the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao stated that through the Adarsh Suvidha Kendras (Citizen Experience Centers), citizens will receive essential certificates such as birth, death, and marriage, license services for business, vending, advertising, property tax, water/sewerage, and solid waste services, registration for municipal property booking, grievance redressal, and digital inclusion services in an accessible and timely manner, based on the “One State – One Portal” single platform.

Deputy CM Sao stated that these centers will simplify and standardise citizen services and remove administrative bottlenecks, thereby increasing transparency and accountability between the public and municipal officials. This initiative will promote inclusivity across the state and ensure significant improvements in the ease of living.

What is Adarsh Suvidha Kendra?

Adarsh Suvidha Kendra will serve as a unified hub for all public utility services in urban bodies. Through these centers, citizens will be provided with essential documents and services. Additionally, other citizen service portals operating in the state, such as Nidan-1100, Mor Sangwari, Property Tax, and other services and facilities related to urban administration, will also be integrated with the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra.

How will citizens access these services?

To access to services through the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra, citizens will need to visit the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra and submit their application for the services they desire. Based on the nature and merits of the application, the urban body will resolve the request through the Adarsh Suvidha Kendra within a stipulated timeframe.

This entire process will be integrated online and monitored through the state-level Command and Control Center established within the State Urban Development Agency.
