On Armed Forces Flag Day, Chief Minister Made Contribution Towards the Welfare of Soldiers and Martyrs’ Families-Photo Credit -Arragements
Raipur: In a solemn display of respect and gratitude towards India’s armed forces, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reaffirmed the State’s commitment to honouring those who stand guard for the nation’s security. Marking Armed Forces Flag Day at his Raipur residence office on Sunday December 7 , 2025 , the Chief Minister received Brigadier Vivek Sharma, Secretary of the Chhattisgarh State Soldiers’ Welfare Board, who called on him to present the symbolic honour badge and apprise him of the welfare activities and schemes being undertaken by the Directorate of Sainik Welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sai said, “Armed Forces Flag Day is a sacred occasion to express our gratitude for the courage, sacrifice and unyielding dedication of our brave soldiers and their families. The contribution of our armed personnel, who stand vigil day and night for the protection of our nation, is truly incomparable.” He added that the day reminds citizens of their shared responsibility to stand beside serving soldiers, ex-servicemen and the families of martyrs with compassion and support.
Chief Minister also made a personal contribution towards the welfare of soldiers and their families to mark the day.
Member of Parliament Faggan Singh Kulaste and Padma Shri awardee Usha Barle were present on the occasion.
