Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life is an inspiring example of courage, patience, strategy, and ideal leadership, and therefore, we should all set goals like Shivaji’s in our lives.

He said that Shivaji Maharaj displayed extraordinary courage and wisdom even in adverse circumstances. Referring to the incident with Afzal Khan, he said that Shivaji, sensing the crisis, made decisions with patience and strategy, and achieved victory. Similarly, his strategic strategy against Shaista Khan teaches that even the most formidable enemy can be defeated with wisdom and courage. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai made this statement while addressing the audience during the staging of the historical epic “Janata Raja” at the Science College grounds.

Chief Minister Sai said that Shivaji Maharaj was not only a great warrior but also a ruler with high ideals. He respected the faith of people of all religions and gave top priority to the dignity of women. Referring to the values inculcated by Mother Jijabai, he said that Shivaji Maharaj’s character teaches us the message of dignity, morality, and respectful conduct, the CM stated.

Sharing memories of his student days, Chief Minister Sai quoted lines from the great poet Bhushan, which provide a wonderful description of Shivaji Maharaj’s valor and bravery. He said that Shivaji’s life is not just history but a source of inspiration, motivating us to remain steadfast in our goals even in difficult circumstances, Sai added.

This special staging of the historical epic “Janata Raja,” which began in the capital Raipur, will be presented every evening at the Science College grounds until February 22nd.
