These match winner players may be released before the auction, names of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul also included

IPL 2025 Auction: Preparations for IPL 2025 have started. Soon the retention policy will be issued by the BCCI, along with this it will also be decided how many players the teams can retain, the rest of the players will be considered automatically released. This time some such players can also be released, although till now no team has released anyone.

MI team can release Rohit Sharma

The biggest name among the players who are likely to be released before IPL 2025 is Rohit Sharma. Looking at what happened in Mumbai Indians last season, it seems that Rohit Sharma can be released from MI. Now Hardik Pandya is the captain of Mumbai Indians and it is believed that Rohit will be released this time and will go to the auction, where he can be seen playing for some other team.

KL Rahul can also be released from LSG

Lucknow Super Giants have not been able to do any such miracle under the captaincy of KL Rahul, so that he remains in his team. Now KL Rahul is not even a part of India’s T20 team. Also, Rahul’s own performance is not of the kind that can secure his place. That is, he can also be released.

Faf du Plessis may be separated from RCB

RCB is always in discussion. This is a team that has not won the IPL title even once, the team is currently led by Faf du Plessis. He is currently around 40 years old. The mega auction takes place for three years, so when he is not playing international cricket, it is doubtful whether the RCB team will keep him with them. The RCB team will definitely look for a new captain in the next auction.

Glenn Maxwell also flopped in IPL

Glenn Maxwell is currently with RCB, but looking at his performance in the last few years, the RCB team will hardly be interested in keeping him with them. Glenn Maxwell is worth more than 14 crores, it will be interesting to see if any other team will try to bet on him if RCB releases Maxwell.
