Yadav Samaj Yatrara being flagged off from Durg on March 22, by MLA Gajendra Yadav-Photo- Shashikant Yadav
Raipur: The three-day social harmony yatra organised by Yadav Thethwar Samaj concluded successfull on Thursday March 27 , 2025 . State media in-charge Shashikant Yadav said that the objective of this yatra was to increase mutual harmony and brotherhood among different sections of the society, study the condition of socially and economically weaker section and make an action plan for the development of the society.
The yatra started from Durg on Saturday March 22,2025 which was flagged off by MLA Gajendra Yadav. The yatra passed through various stops, including Dhamdha, Khairagarh, Pandadah, Lanji, Kania, Chilfi Valley, Bhoramdev and Pandarbhatta. At each place, the people of the local society gave a grand welcome to the travelers and social meetings were organised, in which various issues related to the upliftment of the society were discussed.
Dhamdha: The yatra reached Dhamdha, where a grand welcome was given under the leadership of Sadhu Ram Yadav, Raju Yadav and Raman Yadav. In the meeting held at Thethwar Bhawan, garlands were placed on the picture of Lord Shri Krishna. In his presidential address, Parmanand Yadav highlighted the glorious history of the Yadav community and the need to take everyone along.
Khairagarh: Balram Yadav and Shri Ram Yadav along with their companions welcomed the pilgrims in Khairagarh. Social contemplation was done and various officials put forward their views in the interest of the society.
Pandadah: Former MP Madhusudan Yadav welcomed the pilgrims in Pandadah and participated in the social discussion. Sanjay Yadav, Manik Yadav, Devkant Yadav and others addressed the gathering.
Lanji: In Lanji, the welcome was done under the leadership of Bharat Yadav, Santosh Yadav, Sarpanch Mithlesh Yadav and others. Ram Jeevan Yadav recited poems on social harmony and Ram Singh Yadav sang folk songs in his melodious voice to encourage the people .
Kaniya: In Kaniya, the welcome was done with pomp and show and fireworks. Ram Singh Yadav highlighted the objectives of the social harmony yatra and Parmanand Yadav talked about establishing a sense of equality in the society. Narottam Yadu stressed on the power of the organisation.
Chilphi Valley: Lalaram Yadav and Harish Yadav, among others, welcomed the pilgrims at Chilphi Valley. Lalaram called the yatra a matter of good fortune for the society and Ramsingh Yadav described it as a confluence of three rivers, in which people of Yadav community from Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh participated.
Bhoramdev: Pawan Yadu and Om Yadu welcomed the pilgrims at Bhoramdev. Pawan Yadav called the yatra important for increasing mobility in the society.
Panderbhatta: A grand welcome was also given at Pandarbhatta. Narottam Yadu reiterated the objectives of the yatra and Parmanand Yadav and Ramsingh Yadav highlighted the role of this yatra in connecting the society.
State President of Youth Cell Parmanand Yadav, State Patron Ramsingh Yadav, General Secretary Narottam Yadu, Treasurer Pushkar Yadav and other office bearers were present in the yatra. People of the local community also participated in large numbers at various places.
This yatra was successful in strengthening the feeling of unity and brotherhood among the people of Yadav Thethwar community.
